Fuseboard other wise called a Consumer Unit is the first Point Safety item in the home and these days should include a R.C.D. ( Residual Current Device ) this is called a split load board this is protected by a 100 amp Fuse

Power Points other wise called Sockets or outlets these can be on a ring  and protected by a 32 amp / M.C.B. Fuse or radial protected by a 15 or 20 amp Fuse / M.C.B.

Lights these are wired as radial and protected by a 6 amp Fuse / M.C.B. ( maximum of 10 Pendants Light fittings )

Door Bell are normally wired into the light circuit or on a fuse spur with a 3 amp Fuse
